Plantarium uses AI-based visual identification, which is generally accurate for common, clearly-photographed species, but it is an estimate, not a certainty — no photo-based identification (ours or anyone else's) is 100% reliable, especially for similar-looking species, unusual angles, or partial views. For best results: fill the frame with the plant/mushroom/leaf, use good lighting, and take more than one photo of different parts (leaf, flower, stem, cap, gills) if you're unsure.
